Perquimans Central School Home

#EveryChild EveryChance EveryDay

The Perquimans County school system serves approximately 1,800 students and employs approximately 150 licensed personnel.

Perquimans County Schools is located seventy-two miles from East Carolina University and eighteen miles from Elizabeth City State University.  These two universities along with College of the Albemarle have been supportive collaborative partners of our school system.  Other local community programs that support our school system each day are the Hertford Rotary Club, Ruritan Clubs, Ministers’ Council for Education, the Perquimans County Schools Foundation, the Albemarle Plantation service and scholarship programs, the Chamber of Commerce and many other local businesses.
