As a reminder, all visitors entering the school during student hours must have a photo ID/drivers' license (NCID) to enter the building. You will need to log in through our Verkada system using your NCID and walk through our metal detectors. This process helps us ensure everyone’s safety by verifying each visitor. If you are checking out a student, you do not need an NCID, but you must sign out through Verkada so we can verify that you are on the pick-up list. For events after student hours, only the metal detector is required, as students are with their parents or guardians.
To help speed up the check-in process this week and avoid a backup, QR codes are posted on the school doors. You can scan these codes with your phone and enter your information without needing to use the iPad inside. If you are not able to use your phone, you may also sign in on the Verkada iPad. Please remember, you will still need your NCID, but this should allow more people to check in at once. Don’t forget to collect your visitor badge when you enter the building, whether you signed in by phone or the Verkada iPad, and wear it inside the building. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our students safe — this is always our top priority.
