Perquimans Central is a Pre-Kindergarten through Second grade school with 2 Pre-Kindergarten classes, 7 Kindergarten classes, 8 First Grade classes , and 7 Second Grade classes. We have approximately 400 students. Our school is the only Pre-Kindergarten through second grade school in Perquimans County. We feed into Hertford Grammar School, which is a third through fifth grade school. We are located in a rural section of northeastern North Carolina with supportive parents and a nurturing community.
